Watauga Community Housing Trust is a Member-led nonprofit open to all who live in Watauga County and support our mission.

WCHT is a grassroots organization run entirely by local people volunteering their time. Our Membership is how our organization stays connected and accountable, and we invite you to help shape our actions. Will you join the work to build permanently affordable homes in Watauga?

Annual Membership dues are a suggested $25 contribution or two hours of volunteering with WCHT. All people who live or work in Watauga are eligible for Membership. Each year, our Membership is invited to nominate and vote on our Board of Directors.
